What that does not affect

• Which product wins. Rankings are editorial. A higher commission rate never moves a product up a list.
• What the review says. Nobody gets to approve coverage before it publishes.
• Whether a negative point gets published.

What it does affect

Once I have decided a product is worth recommending, I may point the link at whichever retailer pays better, provided the price and availability are comparable. That choice is about which shop the link goes to, not about which product gets recommended.

Free and loaned product

If a brand sends me something at no cost, or loans it, the page covering it says so. That applies whether or not I end up recommending it. Accepting a product is not a commitment to review it, or to review it favourably.
